A Quiet and Peaceful Day
This is one of the times in my life when I can truly appreciate peace and quit. Yesterday, I worked for many hours to study for quizzes and exams. But it seemed to be a bit more noisy and more people moving around. Today I will be doing research most of the day so that I can began on two academic research papers for two different courses. This should be fun!

I know what you mean about peace and quiet. It seems I never get enough of that. I though I lived alone . . . and then my ex needed a place to stay two years ago and I let him move into my upstairs. He is still here. My grandkids come at least a couple of times a week and the TV is always on if they are here. . . or they are bugging me to do something with them. I try work over the chaos.
ReplyDeleteYes! There is nothing like enjoying a little peace and quiet. I lived alone also until I opened the door to what does not seem to be my intended husband and it's been eleven years of basically doing nothing much together to have fun. My family visits quite often and when my grandchildren comes over at least three of them have to watch different programs on three different televisions and another one wants to use the computer. And I find myself reading or studying in the mist of having company. I have a small apartment, so it can be a little chaotic at times. But I look forward to a nice vacation after I have completed this year in college!
